Raised in rabbit, this polyclonal IgG reagent recognizes the TUBB subunit of cytoplasmic and mitotic spindle microtubules and is supplied as a 50 µl unconjugated aliquot from Antibodies.com. Validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry on human, mouse, and rat specimens, the polyclonal format increases the chance of recognizing conserved epitopes across these species. The reagent is broadly deployed in cytoskeletal protein studies, mitotic-spindle imaging in fixed cells, and routine loading-control normalization of whole-cell lysates. Investigators also use it to track microtubule stability under small-molecule drug treatment, follow neuronal development and axonal growth in rodent brain sections, and benchmark β-tubulin isoform expression in tumor-profiling panels. The unconjugated IgG format pairs readily with anti-rabbit HRP, biotin, or fluorescent secondary reagents, so it integrates into standard chromogenic and fluorescence immunodetection workflows. Antigen affinity purification and a PBS-based buffer with glycerol maintain reagent integrity, while working aliquots stored at -20 °C help limit freeze-thaw cycles that can degrade polyclonal performance.
