Anti-TTR Antibody

Produced in rabbit as an unconjugated IgG polyclonal reagent, this primary antibody selectively binds transthyretin (TTR), the tetrameric plasma and cerebrospinal fluid carrier of thyroxine and retinol-binding protein. It is validated for immunohistochemistry (IHC) on rat tissue sections and is supplied by Antibodies.com as a 200 µl liquid aliquot in a single vial.

The unconjugated format lets researchers pair it with HRP-, biotin-, or fluorophore-labelled secondaries of their choosing for chromogenic or fluorescence imaging workflows. Recommended uses include mapping choroid plexus expression, tracking hepatic synthesis, and visualizing amyloid deposits in fixed tissue preparations.

For handling, keep refrigerated, protect from light, and aliquot upon first opening to limit freeze-thaw cycles. The reagent is intended for research use only and is not cleared for diagnostic procedures.
