Raised in rabbit and supplied as an unconjugated IgG polyclonal reagent, this Antibodies.com reagent targets the thyroid-stimulating hormone receptor (TSHR), a G protein-coupled receptor best known for its role in thyroid follicular cell signaling. The 200 µl volume is validated for Western blot workflows and shows reactivity with both human and mouse samples, making it a practical choice for cross-species signaling and autoimmunity research.
Because TSHR is the autoantigen recognized by stimulating antibodies in Graves' disease and is implicated in Hashimoto's thyroiditis, this reagent is commonly deployed in studies of thyroid autoimmunity, receptor expression profiling, and downstream cAMP signaling cascades. For handling, store refrigerated and protect from light to preserve IgG activity across repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
