Manufactured by Antibodies.com and supplied through AFMS, this polyclonal primary reagent is raised in rabbit against the TRPV1 (transient receptor potential cation channel subfamily V member 1, also known as the capsaicin/vanilloid receptor VR1) target and is intended for Western Blot (WB) applications. The antibody is provided unconjugated at a concentration of 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2, supplied in a 50 µl vial and certified for Research Use Only, with an estimated purity greater than 95%. Clonal format is polyclonal of the IgG isotype, ensuring broad epitope coverage of TRPV1, while the unconjugated status gives users full flexibility for downstream labelling or detection workflows. Reactivity has been validated against human, mouse and rat samples, making the reagent broadly applicable across both rodent and human cell- and tissue-based Western Blot studies of nociception, pain signalling and TRP-channel biology. For storage, the supplier recommends holding the vial refrigerated in its PBS/sodium azide buffer (approx. pH 7.2) according to Antibodies.com handling guidance to preserve the 1 mg/ml antibody stock until first use, after which standard aliquoting and freezing at -20 °C is advised to avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles of the polyclonal IgG preparation.
