Anti-TRPS1 Antibody

This polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets TRPS1 (Trichorhinophalangeal Syndrome 1), a GATA-type zinc-finger transcriptional repressor best known for its role in chondrocyte, hair follicle, and renal development, and increasingly studied in oncology.

In recent literature, TRPS1 has been highlighted as a sensitive marker for breast carcinoma, including triple-negative subtypes, where it is often compared against GATA3. Its expression has also been examined in prostate, lung, colorectal, and salivary gland tumours, making it a useful reagent for surveying epithelial lineage and tumour phenotype across tissue panels.

The antiserum is raised in Rabbit and supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.3, unconjugated, and packaged in a 100 µl vial. It cross-reacts with Human, Rat, and Mouse TRPS1, supporting workflows that combine human biopsy material with rodent model tissue. The reagent is validated for Western blot (WB) detection and is intended for research use only. For long-term stability, aliquot the stock upon arrival, refrigerate working solutions at 4 °C, and store the original vial frozen at -20 °C or below; avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
