Anti-Troponin I (41-49) Antibody

Provided by Antibodies.com, this Protein A purified monoclonal reagent specifically targets cardiac Troponin I within the amino acid 41–49 epitope region (sequence SASRKLQLK) of the inhibitory subunit of the troponin complex. The antibody is a Mouse IgG2b isotype, supplied unconjugated in1 mg aliquots at approximately 1 mg/mL in PBS (pH 7.5) with 0.1% sodium azide as a preservative, and has been validated for use in ELISA and Western blotting (WB) applications on human samples. Clone 19C7 was raised against amino acid residues 41–49 of cTnI and recognizes free human cardiac troponin I as well as troponin I when complexed with other troponin components, while showing no cross-reactivity with skeletal muscle troponin I. Recommended for research use only and intended as a capture or detection reagent in cardiac injury biomarker assays and immunoblotting of cardiac tissue lysates, the product should be stored at 2–8 °C for short-term use (up to two weeks) and at −20 °C for long-term storage, avoiding repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Purity is ensured through Protein A affinity chromatography of the monoclonal antibody produced in mouse, with reactivity confirmed against human cardiac Troponin I.
