Anti-TROP-2 (F167) Antibody

Rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against TROP-2 (TACSTD2), a 36 kDa cell-surface glycoprotein encoded by the TACSTD2 gene. The antibody recognizes an epitope centred around the F167 residue of human TROP-2, a region in the extracellular domain that distinguishes tumor-associated TROP-2 overexpression from baseline epithelial expression. In Western blot, it detects endogenous TROP-2 in carcinoma cell lines such as MCF-7 and MDA-MB-231; in IHC on formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded sections, it produces membrane and cytoplasmic staining patterns consistent with the protein's known localisation.

Supplied as 50 µl of affinity-purified antibody at 1 mg/ml in PBS (pH 7.2) with 0.05% sodium azide as a preservative.
