Anti-TrkB (Phospho-Tyr705) Antibody

Available from Antibodies.com, this Rabbit polyclonal antibody targets TrkB when phosphorylated at tyrosine 705. The unconjugated reagent is reactive with Human, Mouse and Rat samples and is validated for Western blotting (WB).

The antibody was raised against a synthetic phosphopeptide corresponding to the sequence around the tyrosine 705 phosphorylation site (T-D-Y P-Y-R), derived from Human TrkB, and was purified by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific phosphopeptide, with non-phospho specific antibodies removed by chromatography using non-phosphopeptide. It specifically detects endogenous levels of TrkB only when phosphorylated at tyrosine 705. The antibody is supplied at 1.0 mg/mL in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4) containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol. TrkB has a predicted molecular weight of 140 kDa, and a recommended Western blotting dilution of 1:500–1:1000 is provided.

For storage, the product is shipped at 4 °C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
