Raised in rabbit against TRIM69, this unconjugated polyclonal IgG reagent from Antibodies.com is supplied as 200 µl of liquid and validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry on mouse samples. TRIM69 is an interferon-stimulated E3 ubiquitin ligase of the RING-B-box-coiled-coil (RBCC) family that has been studied as a host restriction factor against dengue virus, where it directly ubiquitinates the viral NS3 protein at Lys104 and drives its proteasomal degradation, and as a transcriptional inhibitor of vesicular stomatitis virus through physical association with the viral phosphoprotein.

Endogenous detection on immunoblots typically resolves a band near the calculated molecular weight of 57 kDa, consistent with full-length TRIM69 in mouse cell lysates and testis tissue, where the murine ortholog is selectively expressed at the round spermatid stage of spermatogenesis. Overexpression of the protein has also been reported to induce apoptosis, making it relevant to studies of germ cell biology, ubiquitin ligase enzymology, and innate antiviral immunity alike.

On arrival, refrigerate the vial; for longer storage, aliquot and freeze to limit freeze-thaw cycles, and briefly centrifuge before first use to recover material from the cap or tube walls. The unconjugated format lets researchers pair it with their own secondary antibodies for standard immunoblotting of mouse lysates or for chromogenic detection on fixed tissue sections without further modification.
