This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets TRIM33 (Tripartite Motif Containing 33), a member of the TIF1 family of transcriptional intermediary factors also known as TIF1-gamma. Raised in rabbit and supplied as an IgG isotype in a 100 µl volume, the unconjugated reagent is validated for Western blot (WB) detection of human TRIM33.

TRIM33 is a multifunctional RING finger E3 ubiquitin ligase with an apparent molecular weight of approximately 122 kDa. It participates in TGF-β/Smad signaling, where it regulates Smad4 by mono-ubiquitination, influencing transcriptional outputs of the TGF-β pathway. The protein also contributes to chromatin remodeling, DNA damage response, and hematopoietic development, and is investigated as a tumor suppressor in hematopoietic and solid tissue contexts.

This unconjugated polyclonal reagent is for research use only and supports immunoblotting of endogenous TRIM33 in human cell and tissue lysates. Recommended storage is at -20 °C, with freeze-thaw cycles minimized to preserve reactivity. Researchers studying transcription factor biology, post-translational modification, or the TGF-β pathway in human model systems will see this antibody as a direct route to protein-level interrogation of TRIM33 expression and regulation.
