TRIM21 (Tripartite Motif Containing 21), also known as Ro52 or SSA1, is a cytoplasmic E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase that serves both as a key autoantigen and as the cell's intracellular antibody Fc receptor mediating antibody-dependent intracellular neutralization of pathogens. This rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised against the human protein and supplied at 100 µL per vial as an unconjugated, affinity-purified antiserum validated for western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows on human samples.

Investigators apply the reagent to study innate immune signaling, IRF-driven cytokine regulation, type I interferon pathway activation, and the loss of B-cell tolerance that drives anti-Ro52 autoantibody production in systemic lupus erythematosus, Sjögren's syndrome, and idiopathic inflammatory myopathies. The antibody detects the approximately 52 kDa TRIM21 protein in cell lysates and in formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue sections.

For short-term use, refrigerate the vial and aliquot into working volumes for frozen storage at -20 °C, limiting repeated freeze-thaw cycles to preserve polyclonal reactivity across experiments.
