Anti-Tricyclic Antidepressant (TCA) Antibody

Offered by Antibodies.com as a primary antibody for small-molecule immunoassay work, this reagent is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 (kappa) antibody raised against a desipramine–BSA conjugate and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography. It is supplied unconjugated as a purified liquid at 1 mg per vial in 0.015 M potassium phosphate buffer (pH 7.2) containing 0.85% sodium chloride, with sodium azide as a preservative. The clone is validated for ELISA-based detection of the tricyclic antidepressant class and shows broad cross-reactivity across the TCA family, recognising 100% of nortriptyline, nordoxepin, trimipramine, amitriptyline, promazine and desipramine, 90% of maprotiline, and 80% of doxepin.
