Polyclonal antibody raised in rabbit against human TREX1, supplied by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated 100 µl aliquot of antiserum. TREX1 (Three Prime Repair Exonuclease 1) acts as the major 3′-to-5′ DNA exonuclease in mammalian cells and clears cytosolic single-stranded and double-stranded DNA fragments that would otherwise trigger cGAS-STING-mediated type I interferon signaling. Loss-of-function mutations in TREX1 are causally linked to Aicardi-Goutières syndrome, monogenic systemic lupus erythematosus, familial chilblain lupus, and retinal vasculopathy with cerebral leukodystrophy, so reliable detection of the endogenous protein is valuable in autoimmune, neuroinflammatory, and interferonopathy research.

The reagent is validated for Western blot and immunofluorescence on human samples, allowing visualization of endogenous TREX1, which migrates at approximately 32 kDa, in cell lysates and fixed cells. Each vial contains 100 µl of polyclonal antiserum in a working volume suitable for routine immunodetection workflows. Store aliquots at -20 °C and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles to preserve antibody activity.
