Anti-TREK1 Antibody

TREK1 is widely expressed in the central nervous system, including cortex, hippocampus, hypothalamus and dorsal root ganglion neurons, and is also found in cardiac myocytes and vascular smooth muscle. The channel is mechanosensitive and modulated by temperature, intracellular pH, polyunsaturated fatty acids and volatile anaesthetics, which has spurred research into its role in neuroprotection, cerebral ischaemia, migraine, depression and pain signalling.
