Raised in rabbit against the full-length TFE3 transcription factor, this unconjugated polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets a basic helix-loop-helix protein of the microphthalmia (MiT) family that controls lysosomal biogenesis, autophagy induction, and metabolic adaptation under nutrient stress. Supplied at 100 µl per vial, the reagent is validated for Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), and Immunofluorescence (IF) workflows on human samples, supporting detection of endogenous TFE3 expression in cultured cells and tissue sections.

TFE3 attracts considerable attention in translational oncology because chromosomal translocations involving the TFE3 locus drive Xp11 translocation renal cell carcinoma and alveolar soft part sarcoma, where aberrant nuclear accumulation of the protein is diagnostically informative. Investigators also deploy this antibody to dissect metabolic reprogramming downstream of mTORC1 signaling and to profile TFE3 transcriptional targets implicated in immune cell differentiation and osteoclastogenesis.

For handling, aliquot the antibody upon first use to limit freeze-thaw cycles and store frozen at -20 °C for long-term stability, or refrigerate short-term. Frozen storage preserves polyclonal binding activity across multiple experimental campaigns. Research use only; not intended for diagnostic procedures.
