TRAF6 (TNF Receptor-Associated Factor 6) is a cytoplasmic RING-domain E3 ubiquitin ligase that transduces signals from the TNF receptor superfamily, the IL-1 receptor family, and Toll-like receptors, driving canonical NF-κB and AP-1 activation in innate and adaptive immune responses. Raised in rabbit as a polyclonal reagent, this unconjugated primary antibody from Antibodies.com detects endogenous TRAF6 across human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting research in inflammation, bone remodeling, and downstream receptor signaling.

The reagent is supplied at 1 mg/ml in PBS containing 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, a combination that maintains immunoglobulin stability and protects against microbial contamination during routine bench use. Each vial provides 100 µl of working solution, enough for multiple immunoprecipitations, western blots, and staining experiments at commonly used dilutions.

Validated applications include western blot (WB) for evaluating TRAF6 expression levels and its characteristic autoubiquitination patterns, immunoprecipitation (IP) for isolating TRAF6-containing signaling complexes, and immunocytochemistry, immunofluorescence, and immunohistochemistry (ICC/IF/IHC) for visualizing subcellular distribution in cultured cells and frozen or paraffin-embedded tissue sections. The unconjugated format permits pairing with HRP-conjugated, fluorophore-conjugated, or biotinylated secondary reagents, allowing the researcher to match detection chemistry to the imaging or chromogenic platform in use.
