Tripeptidyl peptidase 1 (TPP1) is a lysosomal serine carboxypeptidase that cleaves N-terminal tripeptides from substrate polypeptides, and loss-of-function mutations in its gene cause CLN2 disease (neuronal ceroid lipofuscinosis type 2, also known as late infantile Batten disease). This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal IgG primary antibody, supplied in a 200 µl vial by Antibodies.com, is validated for Western blot detection of the endogenous human target in cell and tissue lysates. Researchers use it in lysosomal storage studies, neurodegeneration models, and enzyme replacement therapy readouts. Aliquot upon receipt and store at -20°C; avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Intended for research use only.
