The TP53I3 target (tumor protein p53-inducible protein 3) is a p53-responsive gene product that functions as a mitochondrial NADPH-dependent quinone oxidoreductase, contributing to cellular redox homeostasis and p53-mediated apoptosis following DNA damage.
Antibodies.com supplies this reagent as a 200 µL vial of unconjugated rabbit polyclonal IgG, validated for western blot detection of human, mouse, and rat TP53I3. The unconjugated format lets researchers pair it with HRP-conjugated or fluorophore-labeled secondary antibodies for chemiluminescent or fluorescent readout.
Recommended storage is at -20 °C, with working aliquots kept to minimize repeated freeze-thaw cycles on the stock reagent.
Typical research uses include profiling TP53I3 induction after genotoxic or oxidative stress, investigating mitochondrial apoptosis cascades, and characterizing p53-regulated networks in cancer cell models, tumor xenografts, and primary tissue lysates.
