Anti-TP53 (phospho S15) Antibody

Phospho-specific polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targeting human TP53 at serine 15, a key DNA damage-responsive modification site phosphorylated by ATM and ATR kinases following genotoxic stress. This unconjugated rabbit IgG reagent is supplied as 200 µl and validated for Western blot detection of phosphorylated p53 in cell lysates and tissue samples.

The antibody selectively recognizes the phospho-Ser15 epitope and does not appreciably bind the unmodified form, making it useful for studies of DNA damage response, G1/S and G2/M checkpoint activation, and apoptosis induction. Ser15 phosphorylation reduces p53 interaction with MDM2 and contributes to p53 stabilization, which is reflected in the post-translational band shifts the antibody can resolve on immunoblots.
