Anti-TP53 Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal primary antibody targeting human TP53 (p53), the tumor suppressor encoded by the TP53 gene and one of the most frequently studied proteins in cancer biology. TP53 encodes a ~53 kDa transcription factor that responds to cellular stress by orchestrating DNA repair, cell cycle arrest, senescence, or apoptosis programs. Because TP53 mutations occur in roughly half of all human cancers, robust antibody-based detection of the protein underpins oncology research, biomarker validation, and studies of the DNA damage response.

Typical use cases include:

• Western blot for measuring endogenous or overexpressed p53 levels in whole-cell lysates.
