This unconjugated monoclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets the N-terminal region of TORC1 (also known as CRTC1), a CREB-regulated transcription coactivator implicated in neuronal plasticity, glucose homeostasis, and certain oncogenic signaling pathways. Raised in mouse as an IgG2b isotype and cloned for monoclonality, the reagent is supplied as 100 µl of purified protein in 0.1M Tris-Glycine buffer (pH 7.4) containing 150 mM NaCl, 50% glycerol, and 0.2% sodium azide as preservative. Validated applications include Western blot, flow cytometry, immunocytochemistry, and immunoprecipitation on human samples. The unconjugated format leaves labeling chemistry open, allowing researchers to couple the antibody to their preferred fluorophore, biotin, or enzyme reporter for downstream detection. Storage at -20 °C in working aliquots is recommended to limit freeze-thaw cycles of the glycerol-containing solution. Each lot is quality-controlled to support reproducible detection of endogenous TORC1 in cell lysates and fixed-cell preparations.
