Anti-Topoisomerase II β Antibody

Produced by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent binds Topoisomerase II β (TOP2B), a nuclear type II topoisomerase that relaxes positive supercoils, resolves DNA catenanes, and untangles replication or recombination intermediates through ATP-dependent transient double-strand breakage and religation. The unconjugated antibody is supplied as a 100 µl liquid aliquot in a vial, validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry on human samples. TOP2B is broadly expressed in post-mitotic neurons and many other cell types, and altered expression or activity has been linked to neurodevelopmental disorders, certain leukemias, and cellular responses to topoisomerase-targeting chemotherapy, making this reagent useful for chromatin biology, transcription regulation, DNA replication stress, and drug mechanism studies.
