Anti-TOMM40 Antibody

A polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit against TOMM40, the mitochondrial import receptor subunit. The reagent is of the IgG isotype and supplied in unconjugated form for use in Western Blotting (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), and Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence (ICC/IF). Reactivity has been confirmed against Human, Mouse, and Rat samples.

The antibody was generated against a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 1-90 of human TOMM40 (NP_001122389.1). It is affinity purified and supplied as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.01% thiomersal, at a lot-specific concentration. The associated target has a molecular weight of 38 kDa.

Recommended working dilutions are 1:500–1:2,000 for WB, 1:50–1:200 for IHC, and 1:50–1:200 for ICC/IF. The product is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted upon arrival and stored at -20°C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided. Two scientific validation images are available.
