Anti-TOMM34 Antibody

This Antibodies.com primary antibody is a rabbit polyclonal reagent raised against TOMM34. The unconjugated IgG antibody is supplied as a liquid preparation and is validated by the supplier for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC), with reactivity reported against human and mouse samples.

Manufacturer documentation for the same reagent extends the validated applications to include immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) and ELISA, and adds rat to the list of reactive species. The antibody was generated against a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 1–309 of human TOMM34 and purified by affinity chromatography. Recommended starting dilutions are WB at 1:500–1:1,000 and ICC/IF at 1:50–1:200, and the product is accompanied by 2 scientific images.

The formulation is Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide, with concentration reported as lot specific. The predicted molecular weight of TOMM34 is 35 kDa, with observed bands at 35 kDa and 36 kDa. The product is shipped at 4°C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at −20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
