A polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets TOM1L1, an adaptor protein that participates in endosomal trafficking and the sorting of activated receptors toward lysosomal degradation. The reagent is raised in rabbit as an IgG immunoglobulin and supplied unconjugated at 100 µL volume. Validation has been performed for Western Blot on samples of human origin, where the antibody recognizes the endogenous protein in cell lysate preparations.
TOM1L1 has been studied in the context of Src-family kinase signaling, EGFR downregulation, and the recognition of ubiquitinated cargo by the endosomal sorting machinery, making the reagent useful for investigations of membrane traffic, receptor turnover, and related signaling pathways. The unconjugated IgG format supports standard immunoblotting workflows using reducing SDS-PAGE conditions and chemiluminescent detection.
For long-term use, store the vial frozen in small aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles and preserve binding performance across repeated experiments.
