The Antibodies.com Anti-TNNI1 polyclonal reagent is a rabbit host IgG antibody raised against Troponin I1, the slow-twitch skeletal muscle isoform that regulates calcium-dependent inhibition of actin-myosin interaction in striated muscle fibers. Produced as an unconjugated polyclonal preparation, this antibody is validated for Western blot detection of endogenous TNNI1 in mouse and rat sample backgrounds, supporting work in developmental myogenesis, fiber-type composition studies, and neuromuscular disease models.

Each vial is supplied as a 50 µl liquid aliquot of IgG-purified antiserum, unconjugated and free of carrier proteins that would interfere with downstream conjugation if needed. The polyclonal format increases the probability of recognizing multiple epitopes across TNNI1, which is useful when probing isoform-specific expression patterns in slow skeletal muscle compared with cardiac troponin isoforms. For handling, the antibody should be stored frozen at -20 °C in single-use aliquots to preserve activity and limit repeated freeze-thaw cycles; a working aliquot may be kept refrigerated briefly during active use.

This Primary Antibodies reagent is intended for research use only and is well suited to immunoblotting of skeletal muscle lysates, including soleus and other slow-twitch enriched tissues, where TNNI1 expression serves as a marker of slow fiber identity. Its cross-reactivity with mouse and rat TNNI1 has been confirmed, while reactivity against the cardiac isoform TNNI3 is not expected under standard blotting conditions because of sequence divergence at the epitope region targeted by this polyclonal preparation.
