Anti-TNFSF8 Antibody

A polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com targeting TNFSF8 (also called CD153), the TNF-superfamily ligand that binds CD30/TNFRSF8 on activated lymphocytes. Supplied as 50 µl of unconjugated rabbit IgG, it is validated for Western blot detection of the ligand in human, mouse, and rat samples. TNFSF8 is a type II transmembrane glycoprotein expressed on stimulated T cells, B cells, and monocytes, where it drives co-stimulatory signaling, supports germinal center B cell function, and influences Th1/Th2 polarization. Investigators apply anti-CD153 polyclonal antibodies to characterize ligand expression in Hodgkin lymphoma and anaplastic large cell lymphoma lines, to dissect CD30–CD153 axis activity in autoimmune models, and to distinguish membrane-bound versus cleaved soluble cytokine forms in transfected systems.
