Rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent from Antibodies.com supplied at 100 µl per vial and validated for western blot detection of endogenous TNFSF8 protein. The unconjugated format allows straightforward integration into standard immunodetection workflows or downstream conjugation chemistries as required by individual experimental designs.

TNFSF8, also designated CD153, CD30L, CD30LG, or tumor necrosis factor ligand superfamily member 8, is a 234 amino acid type II transmembrane glycoprotein with a calculated molecular mass of approximately 26 kDa (UniProt P32971). It is expressed on activated T cells, B cells, monocytes, and granulocytes and acts as the cognate ligand for TNFRSF8/CD30. Engagement of the CD30 axis drives T cell proliferation, modulates immunoglobulin class switching in B cells, and contributes to the pathogenesis of Hodgkin's lymphoma and anaplastic large cell lymphoma. Cross-reactivity is confirmed against human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting comparative immune signaling studies across species in lymphocyte activation, NF-κB signaling, and tumor biology research.

Raised in rabbit hosts and affinity-purified from antiserum by antigen affinity chromatography, the polyclonal recognizes multiple epitopes on TNFSF8 for consistent band detection across immune and tumor-derived cell line lysates. The reagent is supplied as a 100 µl liquid aliquot in a single vial and is intended for research use only.
