Raised in rabbit and supplied by Antibodies.com as 200 µL of unconjugated IgG, this polyclonal reagent targets TNFSF11, a type II transmembrane ligand of the tumor necrosis factor superfamily also called RANKL, TRANCE, OPGL, or CD254. TNFSF11 drives osteoclast differentiation through RANK signaling and contributes to bone resorption, dendritic cell activation, and immune regulation in vivo. The antibody is validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry, and staining-based detection methods and binds mouse, rat, and human TNFSF11, supporting comparative studies in rodent models and human tissue samples. The unconjugated format leaves the detection label open, so researchers can pair the reagent with HRP, biotin, fluorophore, or amplification systems of their choice. For long-term stability, aliquot the antibody on arrival and store at -20°C to limit freeze-thaw cycles; a working aliquot may be refrigerated for short-term use. Typical applications include profiling RANKL expression in bone marrow sections, osteoblast and osteoclast cultures, tumor specimens, and inflamed tissues, making this reagent relevant to osteoporosis research, bone biology, in vitro immunology assays, and cancer metastasis studies that depend on accurate detection of both membrane-bound and soluble TNFSF11.
