TNFSF10, also known as TRAIL (TNF-related apoptosis-inducing ligand), is a type II transmembrane cytokine of the TNF superfamily that triggers caspase-dependent apoptosis through death receptor engagement at DR4 and DR5. This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised against TNFSF10 and validated for Western blot detection of the endogenous protein in Human, Mouse, and Rat samples.

The reagent ships as 100 µl of unconjugated antibody at 1 mg/ml, formulated in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.3. The polyclonal format exposes multiple epitopes across the TNFSF10 molecule, supporting recognition of full-length ligand as well as processed forms in cell lysate preparations prepared for Western blot workflows.

Typical research applications include profiling TRAIL pathway activity in tumor biology, immune cell regulation, and inflammation models, where the unconjugated format offers flexibility to pair with a researcher-selected secondary reagent and detection chemistry. For routine short-term use, store refrigerated in the supplied vial; aliquoting upon first thaw limits repeated freeze-thaw cycles and helps preserve consistent titer across blots.
