This polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit and specifically recognizes TNFRSF13C, also known as BAFF-R or CD268, a member of the TNF receptor superfamily that serves as the principal receptor for BAFF (TNFSF13B) on B lymphocytes. The reagent is supplied as a 100 µl volume at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 15 mM sodium azide, pH approximately 7.2, and is provided unconjugated for flexibility in downstream detection workflows.

TNFRSF13C is a type III transmembrane protein expressed primarily on mature B cells, where BAFF engagement supports NF-κB signaling, germinal center maintenance, and survival of transitional and follicular B cell populations. Loss-of-function variants in TNFRSF13C are linked to common variable immunodeficiency and impaired immunoglobulin class switching, making the receptor a frequent target in immunology and hematology research.

Validated for Western blot (WB) on human samples, this reagent is useful in studies of B cell development, autoimmune disease models, lymphoma cell lines, and investigations of BAFF pathway pharmacology. The polyclonal format provides recognition of multiple epitopes on the target, which can improve signal when probing native protein in lysates prepared from human lymphoid tissue or B cell-derived cell lines. Aliquot upon first use and store refrigerated; protect from prolonged light exposure due to the azide-preserved buffer.
