TNFRSF13B encodes the transmembrane receptor TACI, a member of the TNF receptor superfamily best known for binding the ligands BAFF and APRIL. It is expressed primarily on B lymphocytes, where it helps regulate class-switch recombination, antibody production, and the balance between mature B-cell subsets. Loss-of-function mutations in TNFRSF13B are linked to common variable immunodeficiency (CVID), IgA deficiency, and other humoral immune defects, making the protein a frequent target in immunology research and clinical variant studies.

This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent from Antibodies.com is supplied as a 200 µL aliquot and is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows on human and mouse samples. Researchers studying germinal center formation, plasma cell differentiation, or the downstream signaling consequences of TACI variants commonly use such antibodies. For short-term storage, refrigerate the vial; for longer-term storage, aliquot and freeze at -20 °C to limit freeze-thaw damage and preserve affinity. The reagent is intended for research use only and is not supplied as a therapeutic or diagnostic product.
