This polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com targets TNFRSF10C, the decoy receptor also referred to as DcR1, TRAIL-R3, or CD263. TNFRSF10C is a glycosylphosphatidylinositol-anchored cell-surface protein that binds the TNF-family ligand TRAIL but, because it lacks an intracellular death domain, it cannot transduce an apoptotic signal and instead modulates the sensitivity of surrounding cells to TRAIL-induced killing.

The antibody is raised in rabbit, supplied as an unconjugated polyclonal at 100 µl per vial, and is validated for western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) workflows on human samples. Researchers studying death-receptor signalling, cancer cell resistance to TRAIL, or the regulation of extrinsic apoptosis commonly deploy anti-TNFRSF10C reagents to confirm receptor expression, distinguish the decoy receptor from the signalling TRAIL-R1 and TRAIL-R2, and characterise expression patterns in tumour versus matched normal tissue.

Because the reagent is unconjugated, it can be paired with HRP, fluorophore, or biotin secondary antibodies, and it is offered by Antibodies.com as part of their primary antibody range covering apoptosis, immunology, and cancer research targets.
