TNF Receptor II (also annotated as TNFR2, TNFRSF1B, and CD120b) is a 75 kDa transmembrane receptor of the tumor necrosis factor superfamily that signals predominantly through NF-κB without engaging a cytoplasmic death domain. This rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated antiserum in a vial, validated for Western blot and immunofluorescence on human and mouse specimens.

TNFR2 is broadly expressed on CD4+ regulatory T cells, activated CD8+ lymphocytes, monocyte and macrophage subsets, endothelial cells, and selected neuronal populations, where it modulates proliferation, survival cues, and tissue-repair programs after TNF-α engagement. Researchers apply this antibody to autoimmune-disease models, tumor-microenvironment studies, and characterization of TNF pathway components in cell-culture lysates and tissue cryosections. The polyclonal format provides multi-epitope recognition, useful when probing both the full-length receptor and shed extracellular fragments generated by regulated ectodomain cleavage.

For immunofluorescence, the antibody is applied to fixed cells or cryosections to map membrane and cytoplasmic receptor distribution. In Western blot, it resolves the mature receptor band and can reveal lower-molecular-weight cleavage products. Store refrigerated; aliquot upon arrival to limit freeze-thaw cycles and preserve reagent activity. Intended for research use only.
