Raise reliable detection of the intestinal brush-border serine protease TMPRSS15, also called enteropeptidase, with this unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com. TMPRSS15 activates trypsinogen on the duodenal surface and is the focus of studies on dietary protein digestion, pancreatic zymogen activation, and congenital enteropeptidase deficiency.

The antibody was raised in rabbit against the human TMPRSS15 sequence and is validated for Western blot of lysates prepared from human, mouse, or rat tissue. Typical immunoblot conditions load 10-30 µg of total protein per lane with the antibody used at roughly 1 µg/ml in 5% non-fat milk or BSA in TBST; empirical titration is recommended for each application. The expected band is observed at the size of the mature enteropeptidase subunit in small-intestine brush-border preparations.

The Ig fraction is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate-buffered saline (pH approximately 7.2) with 15 mM sodium azide as preservative, in a 100 µl vial. For downstream HRP-based reporter systems, dialyse or buffer-exchange to remove sodium azide before conjugation. Refrigerate upon receipt in the dark and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
