Anti-TMOD4 Antibody

TMOD4 is a member of the tropomodulin family of actin-capping proteins and binds the pointed, slow-growing ends of actin filaments, a role that helps stabilize the actin cytoskeleton in lens fiber cells, skeletal muscle, and other tissues where ordered F-actin architecture is required. Researchers investigating cytoskeletal remodeling, lens development, or sarcomere organization use the antibody to detect endogenous TMOD4 by WB and to localize the protein to specific subcellular structures by IF on fixed cells.
