Anti-TMEM173 Antibody

The Antibodies.com primary antibody is a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against TMEM173 (also known as STING), with an IgG isotype and unconjugated formulation. The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 139–379 of human STING. The antibody is supplied as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.09% sodium azide, and is purified by affinity chromatography.

It is validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry (IHC-P), immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), immunoprecipitation, and ELISA, and reacts with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples. The reported molecular weight is 40 kDa, with a predicted molecular weight of 42 kDa. The product is accompanied by 4 scientific images.

It is shipped at 4°C for long-term storage at -20°C; freeze/thaw cycles should be avoided. Recommended starting dilutions are 1:100–1:500 for WB, 1:50–1:200 for IHC-P, 1:50–1:200 for ICC/IF, 0.5–4 µg antibody for 200–400 µg of whole-cell extract in IP, and 1 µg/ml as a starting concentration for ELISA.
