Raised in rabbit against the human TM7SF1 (also called GPR137B) orphan G-protein-coupled receptor, this unconjugated polyclonal primary antibody from Antibodies.com is supplied as 100 µl of liquid and is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) on human samples. TM7SF1 / GPR137B is a lysosomal transmembrane protein linked to mTORC1 signaling and autophagy regulation, and altered expression has been reported in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma and several other tumor types, making the reagent useful for pathway studies and tissue localization work. Because it is a polyclonal reagent, it recognizes multiple epitopes on the target protein, and because it is unconjugated, it can be paired with a laboratory's own HRP, fluorophore, or biotin detection chemistry. For best stability, the vial should be stored at -20 degrees C in working aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles; for short-term use it can be kept refrigerated. Each vial is intended for research use only and should be titrated empirically for IHC on formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded sections or for WB on whole-cell lysates.
