Offered through the Antibodies.com catalogue, this Rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against TM16G (also known as ANO7) and is supplied as a 50 µl aliquot at a working concentration of approximately 1.0 mg/mL. The antibody is unconjugated and is provided in phosphate buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺), pH 7.4, containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as stabiliser. It was generated against a synthesised peptide derived from the C-terminal region of human TM16G and was subsequently affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, ensuring it recognises endogenous levels of the total TM16G protein. The host species is Rabbit and the clonality is Polyclonal, with the immunoglobulin fraction corresponding to whole Rabbit IgG. Validated applications on the supplier page include Western blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC) and Immunocytochemistry / Immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), and the reagent has been characterised on human samples, including Western blot analysis of LOVO cell extracts and IHC staining of paraffin-embedded human prostate carcinoma tissue. Reactivity is reported for Human. For stability, the vial is shipped at 4 °C; on arrival it should be aliquoted and stored at −20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided. The product is intended for research use only and is not suitable for diagnostic or therapeutic applications. Suitable secondary reagents, such as anti-Rabbit IgG HRP or fluorophore-conjugates, should be selected according to the chosen detection method.
