Anti-TLR8 Antibody

These receptors share homology with the Drosophila Toll Receptors involved in mediating dorsoventral polarization in developing embryos and in host immunity, and they contain a conserved Toll homology (TH) domain essential for signal transduction, along with extracellular leucine-rich regions and a cytoplasmic Toll/IL-1R domain. TLR8 forms a subfamily with TLR7 and TLR9 whose members stimulate the NF-κB signaling pathway and contribute to immune responses, and TLR8 itself is expressed in lung and peripheral blood leukocytes.

This unconjugated polyclonal antibody is raised in rabbit and is reactive with human, mouse, and rat samples. It is formulated at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, and is of the IgG isotype. The antibody is recommended for use in Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunofluorescence (IF) applications.
