Anti-TLR4 Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this unconjugated rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent targets TLR4 and is validated for Western blot and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence applications. The antibody cross-reacts with human, mouse, and rat samples.

The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 470-630 of human TLR4 (NP_612564.1). The reagent is supplied as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.3, containing 50% glycerol and 0.05% Proclin 300, and has been affinity purified. TLR4 has a reported molecular weight of 110 kDa. Recommended working dilutions are WB: 1:1,000-1:5,000 and ICC/IF: 1:50-1:200. The product is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C upon delivery, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.

The reagent has been cited in a publication investigating the anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial effects of Punica granatum peel extract on lipopolysaccharide-induced acute kidney injury in rats, in which TLR4 levels were assessed immunohistochemically.
