Talin-1 is a large cytoskeletal protein of approximately 270 kDa that localizes to focal adhesions and links integrin receptors to the actin cytoskeleton, making it a valuable marker for studies of cell-matrix adhesion and mechanotransduction. This rabbit polyclonal reagent was raised against full-length human Talin-1 and is supplied as an unconjugated 100 µl aliquot for direct labeling in user-optimized detection workflows.

Validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry on human and mouse samples, the antibody detects the endogenous 270 kDa Talin-1 band by WB and produces characteristic focal adhesion staining patterns in tissue sections by IHC. Researchers investigating integrin signaling, cell migration, cancer cell invasion, or focal adhesion turnover commonly use Talin-1 as a reference marker alongside vinculin, paxillin, and FAK in adhesion-proteomics studies.

For best results, store the vial at 4 °C short term; aliquot and freeze at -20 °C for longer-term storage and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Antibodies.com provides each antibody with detailed validation data and reactivity information to support reproducible outcomes in cell biology and cancer research laboratories.
