Raised in rabbit against the tubulointerstitial nephritis antigen-like 1 (TINAGL1, also known as lipocalin-7) target, this polyclonal IgG primary antibody from Antibodies.com is supplied unconjugated in a 200 µl vial and validated for Western blot detection of endogenous protein in human and mouse samples. The unconjugated format allows pairing with HRP-, fluorophore-, or biotin-conjugated secondary reagents, giving researchers flexibility in chemiluminescent or fluorescent readouts across tissue lysates and cell-line preparations.

TINAGL1 is a secreted matricellular glycoprotein that localizes to the basal lamina, where it co-localizes with laminin-1 and collagens and engages integrin α5β1 on the cell surface. Mechanistic studies have shown that recombinant TINAGL1 suppresses triple-negative breast cancer progression and lung metastasis by simultaneously inhibiting integrin/FAK and EGFR signaling, with tumor Tinagl1 levels correlating inversely with FAK and EGFR activation in patient samples. The same adhesion-receptor partnership is implicated in decidualization of the uterine endometrium during early pregnancy and in the zonal differentiation of adrenocortical cells, making this antibody a useful reagent for cross-species studies spanning TNBC models, reproductive biology, and renal tubular research.

For research use only. Store at -20°C and protect from repeated freeze/thaw cycles to preserve antibody activity.
