Anti-TIMP-2 (A47) Antibody

Affinity-purified polyclonal antibody raised in rabbit against a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 10–60 of human TIMP-2, distributed by Antibodies.com. The reagent is supplied unconjugated at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2.

Validated for Western blotting (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), with reactivity confirmed against human, mouse and rat samples. The antibody specifically detects endogenous levels of TIMP-2 protein, has a purity greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE following affinity-chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, and recognises a target with a molecular weight of approximately 24 kDa.
