From Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes Tie-2 (also called TEK or CD202B), a receptor tyrosine kinase expressed on vascular and lymphatic endothelial cells that mediates angiopoietin-driven signaling during angiogenesis, vascular remodeling, and endothelial barrier maintenance.

Supplied as 100 µl at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, the reagent is unconjugated and validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows on human, mouse, and rat samples. It supports research into tumor neovascularization, vascular development, inflammatory vessel responses, and congenital vascular malformations linked to TIE2 mutations, including studies of receptor phosphorylation and downstream Akt pathway activation.
