TIA1 is a 43 kDa RNA-binding protein that concentrates in cytoplasmic stress granules during cellular stress and serves as a marker for cytotoxic lymphocytes in tissue sections. The Anti-TIA1 Antibody from Antibodies.com is a rabbit polyclonal, unconjugated immunoreagent supplied as a 100 µl liquid aliquot and validated for Western blot and immunofluorescence workflows on human, mouse, and rat samples. The polyclonal clonality supports detection across multiple epitopes, useful when probing native protein complexes or tracking stress granule dynamics in fixed cells.
For best results, aliquot upon receipt and store at -20 °C in working volumes to limit freeze-thaw cycles, and protect from light. Researchers apply this reagent to studies of stress response, apoptosis, splicing regulation, and immune cell phenotyping, where consistent recognition of stress granules on blots and in immunofluorescence images is essential.
