Anti-Thyroglobulin (TG) Antibody

Supplied by AFMS, this Anti-Thyroglobulin (TG) Antibody is a purified mouse monoclonal from the Antibodies.com primary antibody range, raised against the 660 kDa dimeric thyroglobulin precursor that is synthesized within thyroid follicular cells. The reagent is presented at the 1 mg pack size as a purified IgG monoclonal antibody in unconjugated form, ready to be paired with a secondary reporter of the user's choice. It is validated for ELISA work and is recommended for applications where quantitative detection of circulating or tissue-derived thyroglobulin is required, such as thyroid carcinoma follow-up and research into autoimmune thyroid disease. The clone is of mouse origin, isotyped as IgG, and exhibits reactivity with human thyroglobulin, including the epitopes commonly used in differentiated thyroid tumour studies. For storage, the vial should be kept at 2–8 °C for short-term use and aliquoted into working volumes for long-term storage at –20 °C, avoiding repeated freeze–thaw cycles to preserve antibody activity.
