Anti-Thrombin R (S42) Antibody

Raised in rabbit, the Antibodies.com polyclonal antibody to Thrombin R (S42) recognizes the human thrombin receptor (PAR1, also called Protease-Activated Receptor 1), a G-protein-coupled receptor activated by thrombin-mediated proteolysis. Each 100 µl vial of unconjugated IgG is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 15 mM sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2, providing a concentrated stock for routine immunoblotting of platelet and vascular lysates. The reagent has been validated for western blot (WB) detection of the human target and is intended for research use only. Aliquoting upon first use is recommended to limit freeze-thaw cycles on the stock vial; store refrigerated and protect from light to preserve activity across long-term use.
