Anti-TH (phospho-S71) Antibody

A polyclonal antibody offered by Antibodies.com, raised in rabbit and unconjugated, targeting tyrosine hydroxylase (TH) phosphorylated at Serine 71. The reagent is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2 and is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications, with reactivity confirmed against human, mouse and rat samples.

The immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human TH around the phosphorylation site at Serine 71. According to the manufacturer, the antibody detects endogenous levels of TH only when phosphorylated at Ser71. The target protein has a reported molecular weight of approximately 58 kDa. Purity exceeds 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE following affinity-purification from rabbit antiserum using the epitope-specific immunogen.
