Anti-TGM3 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified polyclonal reagent is raised in rabbit against a recombinant human TGM3 (transglutaminase 3) immunogen and is supplied at 1.0 mg/mL in a 50 µL vial of phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4) containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol. The unconjugated IgG antibody detects the endogenous level of total TGM3 protein and is validated for use in Western blotting (WB) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) on human and mouse samples. Each lot is shipped at 4 °C; upon receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity. Recommended research applications include studies of epidermal differentiation and hair-shaft cornification, where TGM3 (also known as protein-glutamine gamma-glutamyltransferase E, TGase E, TGase-3, TGE and Transglutaminase-3) cross-links structural proteins during keratinisation.
